This book encompasses the course of several years. These drawings are a source of inspiration, memories and events. I can recall the time of day, the emotional response and even the smells making vivid my past experiences through self-expression. The media used in these drawings include various applications. The individual technique of expression chosen reflects my emotional response to the space, time and the subject matter at hand. I have devoted many years to perfecting the classic preparation techniques of the masters. My motivation being; the production of the highest possible quality of painting. Using such techniques as stretching the finest linen available soaked with rabbit skin glue and primed with white lead gives me a solid ground from with which to paint. Photography is an area I 'stumbled' upon over the years, useful to me only as a reference for creating other works of art. Now; developing into a beautiful expression of God's creation. The media, including digital photography is in and of itself my form of expression. Experience: Having worked in the commercial & fine art fields for over 30 years; I have an array of experience that goes a generation beyond the scope of the drawing table.
